People across the nation celebrated Martin Luther King, Jr. Day on Monday. Though, school and government offices were closed, students at the Hillel Community Day School still gathered to learn more about his fight for civil rights.

Hillel Community Day School’s First Lego Robotics team brought home the Future Architects award at the University of Rochester’s Jr. First Lego League competition Dec. 10.

Hillel Community Day School hosted a ribbon-cutting event Oct. 26 to showcase more than $650,000 in school upgrades and renovations for five new learning spaces.
